LICENCES & ID:

Drivers should hold a full UK drivers licence. Please bring this with you, along with 2 additional forms of identification, when you collect the vehicle.

Holders of non-UK drivers’ licences must be over 25 and have held a valid licence for over 2 years. Please bring additional proof of ID, e.g. passport or photo ID card.
Drivers should be between 23 and 75 years old.

Drivers wishing to hire minibuses must be between 30 and 70 years of age, have driven for over 5 years, hold a D1 category licence and be able to produce their drivers licence to prove this when they arrive to collect their rental vehicle.
Drivers wishing to hire crew vans must be between 25 and 70 years of age and have driven for over 2 years.

FUEL:

(Diesel) All vehicles must be returned refuelled to the same level as at hire commencement. We regret that we cannot refund for any fuel purchased but not used.

DEPOSIT:

A deposit of £100 is required prior to commencement of hire. All deposits must be made by debit or credit card.

PAYMENT:

Hire charges and deposits are required in full before commencement of hire.

AGE:

All drivers must be aged between 23-75 and must have held a full drivers licence for at least 2 years (subject to insurance conditions).

WEEKEND HIRE:

A minimum of two days hire only is available over the weekend. Vans should be picked up between 9.00 am and 12:30 pm Saturday and returned before 9.00 am Monday, we have a key drop box should you wish to return the van before Monday morning. Weekend hire charged at 2 days. (Vans can be collected on Friday evening subject to availability and a surcharge.)

PICK UP AND DROP OFF SERVICE:

Where required Reward Van Hire offer to drop the van off to and pick it up from the customer, provided the drop off / pick up address is within 3 miles of Reward Van Hire and the hire period is of 1 week or more.

OUT OF HOURS RETURN: Reward have a key deposit box, you can return the van any time during your hire and if the office is not open simply deposit the keys in our secure key box. Customers should be advised that the van is your responsibility until the following working day.

ENVIRONMENT:

Reward Van Hire place a great deal of emphasis on the quality of our fleet. All our vehicles are less than 4 years old and all are powered by the new generation Duratorq diesel engine with excellent fuel efficiency and extremely low CO and CO₂ emission levels as recommended by the Environment Agency.
All vehicles are serviced comprehensively every 10,000 miles as well as being cleaned thoroughly inside and out before rehiring.

CANCELLATIONS:

All cancellations should be made directly with Reward Van Hire. Cancellation will result in a £25 cancellation fee, except where cancellation is made within 48 hours of the booking in which case it will result in the lose of deposit or the value of the hire.
If you re-book for another date and we are notified more than 48 hours before your original booking was scheduled to commence there will be no charge.
